What fruit will you reap in the new year?

Have you thought about what fruit you want to reap in the coming year? As a gardener, you quickly learn that whatever seeds you sow determine what fruit you’re going to get to eat. A lot of work and effort goes into making sure you enjoy that fruit, but you’re not going to reap squash from bean seeds.

If you want more love, more peace, more goodness in your life this year, then you’re going to have to plant those seeds. So, here’s a word of Encouragement from the Father from Galatians 5:22-23:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

Galatians 5:22-23

If you want more love and peace, you must sow love and peace. If you sow hatred and contention, if you sow impatience, intolerance, or a lack of self-control, then you’re not going to reap good fruit. You’re planting the wrong seeds. You have the opportunity to consciously choose, as an individuals, what types of thoughts and actions you’re going to sow to reap the fruit you desire. What kind of seeds are you going to sow in the New Year?
